Rock City erupted in Nottingham back in 1980. Since then it has been the flagship venue in the UK for Live Music and Club Nights.
The venue is made of 1 massive room upstairs for rock and indie music, with a mezzanine running along the perimeter, where you can overlook at the crowd and chill on the booths. 2 additional rooms can be found downstaires where they mainly play metal, hard rock and commercial tunes.

Ink club is a bit of a maze, with a lot staircases, rooms and bars, you will never stop exploring the inside of the venue. It boasts 8 Bars and 4 rooms spread accross different levels.
The main room is equipped with the worlds most advanced light and sound system paired with our resident DJs, this room has been created to provide an unbelievable experience with DJs playing the best in UK and International House as well as your favourite club tunes.

Ocean is an institution is Nottingham, it is the most famous club amongst students as it offers the wildest nights in Nottingham. It is a 100% Only student venue that only opens during the student terms. From September to June. If you are going down to ocean, you must wear fancy dress and the more ridiculous or outrageous it is, the better.
The most famous anedoct about Ocean is when the BayWatch song comes on, you will see the crowd take off their top and spin it over their head. Yes, this is real!
Unashamedly non-pretentious, the music is mainly commercial, you can also expect cheesy tunes all night long. From nights to nights, you will listen to the same music over and over again.

Propaganda is located in the heart of the Lace Market, and it is Nottinghams main gay venue. It tends to get very busy and attracts a varied though mostly younger crowd. It is a go-to venue after 3AM as most of the other big club close.
